  • Please keep your dog on a leash at all times. We discourage the use of retractable leashes and recommend a leash that is 6 ft long or less.

  • Want to say hello to another dog in the space? Make sure you check with the other owner first. We encourage you to ask for consent before letting your dog enter another pup’s space.

  • Even if your dog JUST went, ensure they don’t need to relieve themselves to ensure no accidents happen in public indoor spaces!

  • Pack a small bag or backpack with your dog’s essentials. This may include water, a water bowl, poop bags, treats, and a blanket to keep them comfortable.

  • It’s easy to get distracted when visiting new places, but don’t lose touch with your dog! Stay tuned to what they’re doing and how they’re feeling to ensure success.

  • Respect the space of service dogs and do not interfere with working and in-training dogs.

  • Sometimes, your dog might get overwhelmed in a public space and that’s okay. Notice the signs of stress in your dog. Take a break. Walk away. Hit reset. Come back when you both feel ready.

  • Enjoying public spaces with your dog is an incredible bonding experience - Enjoy it!

  • There are 20 businesses included in this digital savings pass. The majority of businesses are located in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. A few of the businesses are located in areas within a short drive including St. Jacob’s, Guelph and Elora.

  • Yes! But, some businesses may have restrictions on where dogs are allowed.

  • Some discounts can be redeemed multiple times, while others are for single use. They will be clearly marked in your savings pass.
