How to Shop for the Holidays
& Support Dog Friendly KW at the Same Time
The holiday season is a time for giving, and this year, you can make your gift-giving even more meaningful by supporting a cause you care about. Whether you're buying gifts for loved ones or treating yourself, every purchase you make can help fund important programs and services that make a real difference in our community. In this blog post, we’ll share some simple yet impactful ways to shop for the holidays while supporting Dog Friendly KW.
Bid in our Silent Auction at the Paw-liday Festival
Join us on November 30th from 10AM to 5PM at Gaukel Block in Downtown Kitchener for our 3rd annual Paw-liday Festival. Presented in partnership with Pet Valu, join us for a hyper-local festive holiday market with all kinds of activities and entertainment for you, your dog, and your family!
We will have a silent auction with items from paw-some local businesses who have donated fantastic goods and services. When you purchase an item through our silent auction, you will help support our ongoing work at Dog Friendly KW. Bidding available from 10 am - 4 pm. You must be present and on-site at the festival at 4 pm to pay for and claim your item.
Purchase Merch at the Paw-liday Festival
Our goal is to connect as many dog owners with the resources they need, and deserve, to become a quality community member. Show your support for creating safe, accessible and inclusive dog-friendly communities by purchasing Dog Friendly KW merch at the Paw-liday Festival on November 30th.
Santa and his reindeer will have freshly delivered our new merch that feature 10 adorable local pups. Goodies like sweatpants, hoodies, and more will be on sale so make sure to stop by the Dog Friendly KW booth at the Paw-liday Festival to grab the perfect gear for your next walk.
